Yesterday evening with the kitchen slider open because the weather was wonderful, still warm from the day with a pleasent breeze blowing, Keith and Naomi were playing a variety of games, frisbee (or as Naomi calls it, flying disc), golf and catch, Paige was sitting in her bouncer by the slider frusterated that she couldn't run and jump and play with them and myself preparing one of my favorite quick and easy recipes I found on pinterest (seriously go make it now:
http://madeitateitlovedit.blogspot.com/2012/03/sweet-and-sour-chicken.html) I took a moment to aknowledge the blissful happiness that we had. Yes were in the 'suburbs' and while we have one of the largest lots in the neighborhood its still not THAT big, considering our love and need for country living but even when I lived at home with the land, and my parents really do have a little piece of heaven, with both my horses there were only a few times where I felt that but it was different. It was after a long day playing with J and Fanc relaxing on the deck with Coco, that was bliss. This was different, I wouldn't say better because to travel back in time to a day with those 3 would be pretty awesome. However being in this home, that we had to do far more work just to get paperwork going than we should have, put up with all the crap we did, do all the work we did and the stress and drama that it brought. To be in this home and to know how far we have brought it in 17 months is stupid. To see my husband playing with our toddler attempting to teach her how to do things with her counting correctly before she threw the "flying disc" and cracking up when she missed it is pretty awesome. Keith works so hard at a job that doesn't appreciate him. Works on a never ending project house (yes its what we signed up for and yes that is was home ownership is but you can't say that this house wasn't a little more than what we were expecting...) And still is as loving and wanting to spend time with all of us even though he's so tired and beat up. To hear and watch him play with Naomi is priceless, he couln't possibly be a better father. Naomi, 3 years old in about a month, is more than I could ever imagine. She's way too excited about her birthday, she constantly tells me she wants a birthday cake, pinata and balloons. oh and a candle. She also wants her "friends" which are her cousins, however most of them are in Utah... She keeps seeing pictures from Easter of everyone and wants them all to come back. She tells me she loves me. She comes up to Paige, hugs the top of her head and says "i just love you Paige" or if shes crying shell softly say "I'm here Paige, it's ok, I'm right here" or shell want to hold her and I'll ask why and her answer: I just have to! I love her mommy. But she's just perfect. She cuddles, she makes "deals", shes getting her self on the potty and then calls us. Ever since Kyle and Myra's wedding she has turned girl! Loves pretty dresses, wants to watch "girl movies" and so on. Oh dear! And then there's miss Paige. 5 months shes been in 6 month clothes for a few weeks haha. Teething, I can see the top and bottom two under the skin but last night I saw the right bottom one making some more headway than the others, yes we were up every hour last night *yawn* Shes like half way or a little better for rolling over and sitting on her own. She use to roll alright but lately she doesn't. She really just wants to crawl, walk and run with Naomi skip the other stuff. But it's not just Naomi that makes her want to be mobile its the animals, she LOVES the animals! And recently she's really in to Keith, the other day she wouldn't even smile for Naomi but daddy walks in and he gets a grin. I guess I could go on and on about them but after some adorable pictures lets switch things up and talk HOUSE!!!

Sitting up and looking so pretty!
Sisters, had to snap to keep Paige from looking at her toes =)
Love these two!
She's so great.
Ok so the house... finally ALL the windows are in! I didn't realise though the window in our shower now means that we can't use our shower.... until when? until we do the bathroom remodel... *sigh* but it needed to happen to finish the siding. Then in the vanity part there was a window with that hideous old yellow/brown beveled(?) restraunt glass, it didn't open, it was just fugly. Well its gone! the amount of light we get is awesome, and clean, clear light not dirty light. It also opens which will be sooooo nice come summer. Then Saturday we couln't get a full team but we got Jerom and that was awesome, they got that north side of the house 99% done!!!! It was 2/3 done before they started from a previous saturday of Keith Jerom Jake and Spencer but its so close! We just have the tippy top, 2 board on the front and the triangle on the east side and then, ladies and gentlemen, we will be done! Well with putting it up then its calking and painting. I think well take a breather on the actual house to work on the backyard! The girls and I need a yard. Its getting so close too. Lots of work but at least we have gotten to the part where we can actually start in on it.

Yup no showering in our bathroom, handy that we have the hall bathroom.
Only one more piece at the top!!!! Doesn't it look fantastic?
Cute cute girls. And that house - so much work!!! It's looking amazing! WE can't wait until you have a yard, either! :)
